About the Project

Welcome to Pathways to Technology, a multimedia project highlighting technology degree programs at community colleges. The Pathways to Technology Web site, video series, recruitment toolkit, and outreach initiative are designed for prospective students, returning students, parents, guidance counselors, and community college educators.

Whether you're in high school and thinking about what's next, returning to school, or looking for ways to get the word out about good degree programs, Pathways to Technology is your route to information.

Web Site

What's on this site?

Video Series

Seven videos capture technology fields, current students, professors, and successful graduates from community colleges across the country. All of the videos, totaling more than 90 minutes, are available for viewing on this Web site. See the Videos page for a complete list and links, or watch the videos in short segments throughout the site.

Recruitment Toolkit

Looking for ways to shine a spotlight on your technology programs? The Recruitment Toolkit contains multimedia resources — video, activities, and customizable print pieces — that colleges can use to enhance ongoing recruitment efforts. You'll find sample agendas, planning and publicity tips, and suggestions for using Pathways resources at open houses, technology forums, and information tables.
